The 2022 Lu Lacka Wyco Hundo turned out to be a hot day with plenty of miles and plenty of climbing.

Had a great time representing Team Stages at the 2022 Lu Lacka Wyco Hundo. My splits were pretty good based on the elevation (102.20mi & 9,797ft) and the weather turned out to be beautiful for April in upstate Pennsylvania. I started with a large group of local riders I ride with on a weekly bases in my area. We quickly split into a "Pelton" group and a "Breakaway group". I ended up in the middle as a chaser. My persistence prevailed as I caught all but one of our original break-away group to finish strong with one of the rides from that group. Going into the event I knew fueling would be an important part of my strategy and I kept pushing carbs/calories the entire day.
