I am a 59 year old mountain bike enthusiast and racer in Cat 2 Masters, (soon to be Grand Masters). I have two adult children and a wonderfully supportive S/O. I've been racing for 9 years and enjoy the longer backcountry races. I enjoy everything about the sport, especially the camaraderie found out on the race course and in the venues.
This year I have taken the helm of the Good Dirt Ride for it's 15th year. It is a volunteer driven community event that raises funds to provide bikes for underprivileged women and children in Africa and locally. It is a lot of work but so rewarding to know how kind and giving our community can be.
