Hey Stages! My names Tim and I am an endurance cyclist in St. Louis, Missouri. I am a mechanical engineering student at SLU in my final semester and will be starting my masters in computer science next fall. I got started in sport running after high school to lose weight due to being overweight for my whole life. I fell in love with running but unfortunately have been plagued with injuries. I tried switching to triathlon and really enjoyed that but running still gives me a lot of troubles. Now I am almost always on the bike and love talking anything cycling. At the moment I am currently recovering from a crash a few weeks ago where I broke my collar bone on a descent and can't wait to get back to riding. I took this year as a development year due to Covid and my past running injuries. I am planning on a big base phase this winter/spring to prep for some well needed racing. The only drawback I have with cycling at this point is that I really shouldn't go anywhere near a bike shop because it makes me want to buy another bike (no wife so n+1 is always allowed). I am also a certified USATF level I coach and am working on building a couple websites for coaching. Other than that I spend a lot of time online and used to play video games professionally(Call of Duty/Halo) as a teenager long before games like Fortnite made it mainstream to the general public. Really hoping to be part of team once again as its been a long time since I've been around anyone with the similar interests to me.
Almost forgot I enjoy doing anything with my dog Jaeger. His names Jaeger because it is the German word for hunter and he is a Plott hound which used to be used for hunting bears.
Thank you for your consideration!
