I've worked for the Department of Defense for the past 14 years in Ohio, were I was reintroduced to cycling after a long hiatus. I'm originally from Puerto Rico where I began cycling at the age of 14 (or so). I used to road-race and still consider myself a roadie but I have done mountain-biking and have been transitioning to gravel progressively. The Barry Roubaix 2019 was my first gravel race and I enjoyed every moment of it although I was not at peak level. For 2022, I expect to enter as many races as possible and will star with the Appalachian Mountaineer in VA.
