I am married with a one year old son and juggle working full time as a teacher with being a dad and cycling. I took up cycling seriously when I moved to San Francisco from England in 2015. Previously, I played soccer and competed in triathlons and duathlons, representing Great Britain in the 2005 European Duathlon Championships. I now like to compete in gravel and mountain bike races in Northern California. Last year, I finished 2nd in my age group (40-49) in the Grasshopper Adventure Series. I have been using Stages power meters for the past three years, mainly with Zwift and when training on my road bike.
