My entire life, I have been an athlete. In the early 90's I was a sponsored pro snowboarder. The drive to be the best has always been a part of who I am. 3 years ago, I started mountain biking. I fell in love with it. I started racing, I started renting wherever I traveled (hong kong, Aspen) and rode as much as I could. I was getting in the dirt at least 4-5 days a week. U started racing, and started winning, just feeding my desire to ride more.
Then in January this year I suffered an extremely bad leg break snowboarding. 3 surgeries later, I am 10 months into my 18 month recovery. And I am riding harder than ever. I am now logging on average about 120 miles / week on my gravel bike. I bought a gravel bike to get me on the road to recovery and back on my MTB. Now I only ride road and gravel. I am hooked on gravel and am planning to start racing in the new year. I've already signed up for Belgian Waffle Ride and have many more races on my list.
As well, I am the guy around my office known as the motivator. I have turned several people into cyclist. I love to share my passion with the friends and co-workers and am a big advocate just for the sport of cycling.
I am an apparel designer and I design for an outdoor lifestyle adventure brand. Our drive is to travel and explore as well as experience as much as possible on these trips for inspiration. Along with that, I am responsible to R&D everything, while continue to better each product. And with that, comes the sales side of things. I am the biggest advocate for our brand and the products we make. As a designer I have a passion and drive like no other, which makes me both competitive and outgoing. I need to be able to express to consumers and buyers how to understand what we put into our products and why they are different/outstanding. I believe I am very friendly and am considered a people person. I think I can be a great spokesperson for Stages Cycling.
