I am a 37 year old Financing Director who teaches Indoor Cycling on the side. I fell in love with Cycling and racing in 2012. I have competed in numerous triathlons, including two 70.3's and one 140.6. Cycling is my strongest event in triathlon and now I'm mostly compete in competitive cycling at the Cat 4 level. In 2016, I started having issues with fatigue and shortness of breath. After 18 months of going to doctors, it was finally determined to be a result of anemia and overactive thyroid. In May of this year, I became well enough to ride again. I have spent the year building my base miles with the intention of 2019 being my "comeback year" in racing. My current goal for the 2019 season is to bring home a green jersey from the Green Mountain Stage Race in Vermont. I have been a member of the Aetna/Expo Wheelmen racing team since 2013. Stages power has been an integral part of my training that I highly recommend to any athlete looking to enhance their training. I may compete in triathlon again, but cycling is my main focus currently.
