A native of West Virginia, I grew up skiing and mountain biking. I also competed in bmx flatland and vert back in the late 1980's. My bikes have always been a part of my life and with my son now older and more time on my hands, I have gotten back into road cycling/racing over the last 5 years. I currently own a Specialized Tarmac, an older Specialized Allez, and a Ventum NS1. I work full time in legal finance. Other passions of mine are meteorology and photography. Each spring, I spend a great deal of time tornado chasing in the Great Plains as is evidenced by my social media outlets.
