I am a 41 year old female, I've been in triathlon about 9 years, before that I was never active and fat, lazy and out of shape. I am by no means a fast athlete, but I get a goal and I get it done. I dnf'd my first 70.3 in 2012, so I worked real hard for a year and came back and conquered the course in 2013. In 2014 I did my first full, IMAZ in 16:38:12. I loved every second of it!! I then took a couple years off... fell in love, got married, and now I am getting ready for my 2nd full ironman, Cork Ireland 2019! In all my years of triathlon, I never paid much attention to my numbers.... I just S-B-R. This year I have been paying more attention to my numbers and learning how to get faster and stronger. I recently purchased my first power meter and will be using it to get faster and stronger so I can crush Ironman Ireland in June! I am very excited for this upcoming race year (2019) even though 2018 is barely ending. I am known as an underdog that conquers and not only finishes what I start, but always has a smile on my face.
*I am pretty computer savvy, however I cannot get my pictures to post any way but upside down-except for this distance picture so i'll have to do. LOL
